OTTAWA, Ont. (16/02/17) – Eric San performed at the National Art Center as part of his Music to Draw to: Satellite tour. San is a Canadian DJ and author of graphic novels. He plays all over Canada under the stage name Kid Koala. San has created a unique style; he uses unconventional sounds to make music. His music career debuted in 1996 when he started distributing mix tapes to fellow students at McGill University.

OTTAWA, Ont. (18/02/16) – John Metcalf poses with his first edition book collection in Ottawa on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. His collection is comprised of over 4,000 books. Most of the books have a personal dedication by the author. Metcalf is an editor, writer, critic and collector. "I don’t have a favourite book, they all wash over me," says Metcalf when asked what his favourite book was. He has written 15 books over the past 37 years and was appointed as a member of the Order of Canada in 2004.
OTTAWA, Ont. (26/10/16) – Emily McMahon is a first-time mother practising attachment parenting with her 15-month-old son Max. This practice is rapidly gaining popularity in today’s society. Children are given the breast when they need comfort or ask for it. Sleeping in the parent’s bed and continuing to share a bed is also a common practice of this technique. Max was breastfed until the age of two.

The young boxer moved from Sarnia to train with former Olympic athlete, Jill Perry. Clark’s goal is to attend the 2020 Olympics with her coach Jill Perry. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 were postponed for the first time in their history.

OTTAWA, Ont. (20/04/16) - Marijuana enthusiast gather on Parliament hill in Ottawa to celebrate the 20th of April. People smoke and enjoy the beautiful weather as part of a peaceful protest to legalize marijuana. Their efforts are being heard as medical marijuana is starting to be available more and more around the country. Cannabis was legalized on 30 July 2001; it had previously been a criminal substance since 1923.
